Second, they could have avoided the overcrowding by either limiting the # of tickets sold or setting up alternate stations for booze aside from the single bar. I strongly believe the lounge oversold tickets because when we arrived at 10pm (event started 9pm) they were out of VIP wrist bands and were scrambling to find others that were not for general admission.

For 200+ guests there was 1 bar with 2 extremely tired bartenders. White plastic covered cafeteria tables, etc. The decor looked like it was from the dollar store. We literally asked if we were on the wrong floor. My girlfriend and I walked in and actually thought we walked into an 8 year old child's birthday party.
